Veterinarians Without Borders 2016 Campaign

Healthy Animals, Healthy People. Four simple words that eloquently describe the work and the purpose of Veterinarians without Borders/Vétérinaires sans frontières. Over the past decade in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and remote Canadian communities, we have seen over and over again how our work improving the health and welfare of animals improves the health and livelihoods of poor or disadvantaged people.

For VWB/VSF decision-makers, volunteers, and staff, this work is truly a labour of love. But as the old saying goes, love alone won’t pay the bills. This year, more than ever, we need your help both to meet our current obligations and to help more of the people and animals around the world who so desperately need us.

Over the next month we will be actively reaching out to supporters, both old and new, describing the work we are doing with the money that has been so generously donated in the past, and explaining the needs we have identified for future funding. From the hunger crisis we are confronting in war-torn South Sudan, to the skilled volunteers we are sending to communities around the world, and remote communities in Canada’s North, VWB/VSF is engaged in exciting, life-altering work.
