Furthermore we provide services for a few sled dog kennels, and aid the local wildlife rescue groups. During the summer months we also provide veterinary services to the many people who cottage in the area. We have both large and small animal mobile licenses to facilitate providing the best care possible for our patients. The facility has excellent and friendly support staff averaging 1 receptionist and 1 RVT per veterinarian. The entire treatment and x-ray rooms have been recently upgraded. The clinic is equipped with in-house laboratory equipment, modern monitoring equipment, CR dental x-rays, DR full body x-rays, and a wireless portable CR equine x-ray system. In house and portable ultrasound capabilities are also available, as well as a new HDE evolution equine dental float system. VIDO-InterVac is seeking a Clinical Veterinarian for the clinical research group. The group is responsible for the care of all animals used in experimental research in both containment level 2 and 3. Representative Duties
• Supervises research trials and ensures all treatments, clinical monitoring and sampling procedures are correctly performed. Accurately documents results from start to finish of trials.
• Works with Animal Care Technicians and ensures day-to-day performance and development at established standards.
• Plans research trials with Animal Care Technicians to meet research goals and timelines.
• Helps to develop novel animal models in consultation with scientists to support their specific research requirements.
• Collects tissue samples for laboratory analyses. • Assesses gross pathology.
• Ensures bio-security processes and protocols are consistently applied in the animal care area.
• Assists Scientists in writing Animal Use Protocols and Standard Operating Procedures for submission to the University Animal Care Committee (UACC) for approval.
• Provides budget estimates for animal trials.

Qualifications
• DVM degree with knowledge encompassing multiple species.
• Must have surgical and clinical skills.
• Must be eligible for licensure to practice veterinary medicine in Saskatchewan.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Pathology training would be an asset, as would competency in ultrasound use and interpretation.

We are looking for a Full or part-time, permanent Client Services/ Front Desk Professional to join our team!

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Greeting clients
• Booking and confirming appointments and checking in patients
• Performing cashier related functions like, accepting payment, balancing cash
• Properly recording and transferring calls requiring Veterinary support
• Assist with ordering and inventory management
• Unpacking/Packing orders, shipping
• Assisting with end of day cleaning duties
• Additional duties as required

Eligibility:
• Customer service or hospitality experience is an asset
• Experience in a Veterinary clinic with medical terminology preferred
• Must be able to work independently and as part of the team
• Self-motivated, friendly, and punctual
• Highly proficient with verbal and written English, computer and organization skills and ability to prioritize workload
• Must be 18 yr. old, with unrestricted Drivers License and legal to work in Canada
• Preference will be given to candidates with familiarity and experience with Veterinary products, particularly large animal
