Lakeland Veterinary Services in North Battleford SK. is seeking a full-time or part-time registered veterinary technician. This mixed animal practice has three veterinarians and nine support staff.

The practice focuses on reproductive and orthopedic cases along with the general medical, surgical and preventative caseloads. In house diagnostics include blood, cytology, x-ray and ultrasound. The practice has a long history of training students and providing support to new graduates.

Annual salary of $54,000 to $60,000 commensurate with experience, including four weeks of holidays and five sick days plus health and dental plan, RRSP, continuing education and license allowance and staff discount. Signing bonus of $5000 for a two-year commitment.

The Battlefords are located in a scenic valley with many recreational activities nearby. Swimming, boating and hiking are favorite summer activities while cross-country and down-hill skiing complement snowmobiling and ice fishing in the winter.
