Status of Rabies in Saskatchewan – May 2017
The Saskatchewan rabies report for the month of May, 2017, is attached for your information. There were three (3) positive cases in May.
There were three positive skunks; contact with the skunks resulted in the revaccination of a previously vaccinated dog in one case, 3 months quarantine and immediate vaccination of a previously vaccinated dog in the second case, and euthanasia of an in-contact dog in the third case.
