Recruiting Volunteers: Veterinarians without Borders/Vétérinaires sans frontières (VWB/VSF-Canada)

Veterinarians without Borders/Vétérinaires sans frontières (VWB/VSF-Canada) has been funded by the Canadian government to provide Canadians with overseas volunteer opportunities in the fields of animal health, food/livestock security, veterinary sciences, and more. The program covers costs of airfare, accommodation, insurance, monthly living allowance, etc. while volunteers are overseas.

VWB/VSF-Canada is currently recruiting veterinarians and animal health specialists for the following positions: field veterinarian, laboratory specialist, veterinary clinic advisor, animal production training manual development specialist, lecturer, adult education & training specialist, and curriculum development specialist (dairy and poultry). Countries of placement include Ghana, Tanzania, Laos, Uganda and Vietnam.
