The Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences, Western College of Veterinary Medicine, invites applicants for a 3-year term full time instructor position in Primary Care and Preventative Medicine beginning November 1, 2025, or by negotiation.

Applicants must have a DVM (or equivalent), be eligible for licensure to practice veterinary medicine in Saskatchewan, and must have a minimum of 2-years’ experience in small animal practice. This position will have a 75% clinical commitment and a 25% formal teaching commitment. The successful candidate must have a passion for medicine and a keen interest in coaching veterinary students for success in veterinary practice and must be a strong team player and be able to communicate professionally with people of diverse backgrounds.

Salary range: $74,789-$117,629. Position comes with a comprehensive package which includes pension plan, life insurance (compulsory and voluntary),sick leave, travel insurance, death benefit, dental plan, extended health and vision employee assistance program and flexible health and wellness spending program.

The Department of Veterinary Pathology at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine invites applications from academically qualified veterinarians and others who are interested in pursuing graduate degrees in anatomic, clinical, poultry, or wildlife pathology. The department currently offers four degree programs, including a PhD, MSc (thesis), and two diagnostic training MSc with thesis or project. The certificate in advanced diagnostic pathology is a senior residency program that requires at least two full years of training at an ACVP recognized program.
