Full-Time Veterinarian Opportunity
Prairie Small Animal Veterinary Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. Responsibilities
- Conduct examinations, diagnose conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Perform surgeries, vaccinations, and other medical procedures as required.
- Perform diagnostic testing and interpret laboratory results.
- Educate pet owners on preventive care, nutrition, and overall health.
- Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with veterinary standards.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine through continuing education.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- Must hold a veterinary medicine degree and/or have passed the NAVLE, be registered for or have passed the PSA, and/or be registered for the CPE.
- Be in good standing with applicable veterinary associations.
- Hold a valid veterinary license to practice in the province or state of employment.
- Laboratory experience is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and professional approach to animals and their owners.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
- Commitment to ethical veterinary practices and ongoing professional development.
Experience is negotiable.
