The Regina Humane Society Spay and Neuter Clinic is seeking a veterinarian to join our team at the Animal Community Centre. This position offers the opportunity to practice shelter medicine in a collaborative, mission-driven environment, providing both individual patient care and population-level health management.
Our clinical team includes three veterinarians, three RVTs, and experienced support staff working in a modern, purpose-built facility designed to support efficient workflows and the practice of modern shelter medicine. Our caseload is primarily dogs and cats, with a small number of exotic animals.
Primary areas of practice include:
• High-quality, high-volume spay/neuter surgery
• Medical and surgical care for shelter animals
• Population health management and disease prevention
• Veterinary support for investigations under the Animal Protection Act

Qualifications:
• DVM (or equivalent) and eligibility for non-restricted licensure in Saskatchewan
• Ability to provide both medical and surgical care in a shelter setting
• Strong companion animal surgical skills, particularly in spay/neuter procedures
• Ability to prioritize and manage clinical workflow independently while maintaining efficiency and high standards of care
• Experience in shelter medicine welcome but not required
